Benjamin D. Greenberg
Benjamin D. Greenberg is Managing Director of Duff & Phelps Mexico, whose office territory includes Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Benjamin has extensive experience advising real estate developers, investors and corporate clients in various real estate matters in the commercial, industrial, residential, touristic and hospitality real estate sectors as well as is responsible for developing key real estate location analytics tools which are widely used in the Mexican real estate industry today.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps in 2015, Benjamin served in Deloitte Mexico as Director of Real Estate Services and Real Estate Location Analytics within the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice. Benjamin also served as the FAS committee leader for the Construction, Hoteling and Real Estate Industry Committee for the Deloittes Mexican national practice.
After leaving the television industry in 2004, Mr. Greenberg started his real estate career, as Marketing Director for Arbitrage Real Estate Group, based in Glendale, California. During his one year tenure, Mr. Greenberg developed the company's marketing strategies, which was responsible for the 120% growth of the company retail sales, achieving $22m, from the previous years $10m revenues.
Due to his success in Arbitrage, Mr. Greenberg was recruited and hired by KB Home, the 5th largest homebuilder in the United States, as Marketing Manager. While at KB Home, Mr. Greenberg oversaw all marketing, advertising and branding for the Atlanta, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida communities, which attributed to approximately 120 residential subdivisions and more than $500mUSD in annual sales. In 2006, Mr. Greenberg was the project manager of the successful Martha Stewart Homes launch, which achieved 92 contracts on its first day of sales. This accomplishment is recognized as the highest recorded volume of one-day sales of any single-family home product in the United States.
Mr. Greenberg joined Montaña Verde in 2007 as Marketing Director, and was promoted to Vice President in 2009. Montaña Verde was established in 1997, and performed more than 3,500 valuation and consultation assignments on more than 6,000 properties throughout Mexico and Latin America prior to its acquisition by Deloitte Mexico in 2012. In 2010, Benjamin was responsible for developing a Joint Venture between Deloitte Mexico and Montaña Verde, and continued onto Deloitte after the acquisition.
